Combined technical report

Organize the project's ground investigation reports and foundation calculation reports in a single document containing the items you select.

Open the tool

The app and these introductory pages are available in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

What it organizes

  • Selection of the project's SPT and CPT/CPTu reports
  • Combination of bearing capacity and foundation reinforcement design reports
  • Summary and full modes, with optional contents and quantities
  • Preview of the selected documentation and PDF export

What you enter

  • SPT and CPT/CPTu investigations and foundation calculations saved in the project
  • Project identification and selection of the items to include
  • Summary or full mode and options for contents and quantities

What you receive

  • Preview of the selected investigation and calculation reports
  • Combined PDF with project identification and the selected documents
  • Contents and quantities when enabled and available for the selected items

References and limits of applicability

  • Standards and technical criteria belong to each source report or calculation and remain identified in the corresponding document
  • Combining documents does not introduce an additional standards check or replace review by the responsible professional

Checks and considerations

  • Missing data, preliminary results and checks not performed in the source calculations require review before technical issue
  • PDF export does not establish approval of the calculations or replace design work and professional responsibility

How it works

This tool organizes documentation from data and calculations already saved in the project. Select the SPT and CPT/CPTu investigations and the foundation bearing capacity and reinforcement design reports to include. The document centre provides summary and full modes, a preview, a contents list and optional quantities.

The output retains the assumptions, results and limitations of the source calculations. Document composition does not replace design work or independently establish its safety; quantities use the source tools’ calculation engines. Geotechnics, structures and building services have their own report tools. Review the identification, data and scope of each item before issuing technical documentation.

Example of use

For a foundation example, select the site's SPT report, a pile bearing capacity calculation and a pile cap report. Choose full mode, include the contents list and, where available for the selected items, quantities. Review the preview and export the PDF for checking. The file combines the selected items while retaining each calculation's qualifications; it does not indicate professional approval.

Frequently asked questions

Does the document centre repeat the calculations when combining reports?

It organizes the documents for saved items. Review and update the calculations in their source tools before selecting the documentation to issue.

Can I combine all engineering reports on this screen?

This screen combines SPT and CPT/CPTu reports and foundation calculation reports. Geotechnics, structures and building services have their own report tools; disabled modules remain unavailable.

Generated documents

These documents are assembled within your project using data from the corresponding tools.

  • Foundation calculation report — Combine the project's SPT logs, bearing capacity calculations and structural designs for piles, pile caps, footings and belled caissons in one PDF. The document consolidates selected items; technical checks remain within each tool.
  • Concrete, formwork and reinforcement quantities — Determine concrete volumes, formwork areas and steel masses from the structural designs of piles, pile caps, footings and belled caissons, with recalculation of the members and reference to NBR 7480 for mass per unit length. Review quantities, allowances for waste and assumptions; export to PDF, Word, Excel/XML (.xls), XML or DXF. Pricing is not included.
