Geotechnical calculation report
Organize results already recorded in the geotechnical tools into one document, with item selection and an optional contents list.
Open the toolThe app and these introductory pages are available in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
What it organizes
- Select geotechnical models recorded in the project.
- Combine selected calculation reports into one document.
- Optionally include a contents list with model summaries.
- Preview the content and print it to save as PDF.
What you enter
- Models with calculation reports or summaries recorded in the project's geotechnical area.
- The items selected for the document and the option to include a contents list.
- Project details and the application's standards and units context.
What you receive
- A combined preview of the selected calculation reports.
- An optional contents list identifying and summarizing the models.
- A document to print or save as PDF through the browser.
References and limits of applicability
- Check applicable standards and assumptions in the source tools and project context. The report builder does not recalculate models or certify code compliance.
Checks and considerations
- Without recorded models or selected items, there is no content to export.
- Check the responsible professional's details, results and notes in the source tools before exporting the report.
How it works
The report builder uses models recorded in the project's geotechnical area. Each selected item contributes its calculation report or, when that report is unavailable, its stored name and summary. The document uses the project details and includes the technical responsibility note available in the system.
This step organizes existing documents. Check calculations, assumptions and verification results in the tools that produced each model. The preview and print output use the same content adapted to the application's standards and units context; this adaptation does not provide a new code compliance check.
Example of use
Calculate and record a stress bulb model in the geotechnical area. Open the geotechnical report builder, select that model in the selection panel and choose whether to include the contents list. Review the preview and use Export PDF to open the browser's print dialog, where you can save the document as PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Does the geotechnical report builder perform new calculations?
No. It combines reports and summaries from models already recorded in the geotechnical area. To change an assumption or result, return to the tool that calculated the model.
How do I save the report as PDF?
Select at least one model, review the preview and click Export PDF. The application opens the browser's print dialog; choose the option to save as PDF, when available.
