Checks and considerations

• The report applies neither N60 energy correction nor overburden correction; soil classification must be reviewed by the responsible professional

How it works

The report organises SPT readings, calculates indices from the recorded blow counts and presents the lithological profile. Soil descriptions are entered by the user; consistency warnings do not replace professional soil classification. The report does not apply energy or overburden corrections, and citing NBR 6484:2020 does not certify how the test was performed.

Example of use

When you receive a field log, transcribe the readings for each penetration interval, soil layer descriptions and groundwater observations. Check the plot and warnings against the original document before using the profile for foundation studies.
